TRUTH

"How easy it is to be deceived"

January 30 -- Read 2 Thessalonians 2:1-17

Bible prophecy is not hard to understand. Just remember, "God wins!" Don't get into useless arguments regarding prophecy. Do arm yourself with knowledge to prevent being deceived because there is a lot of error being taught today. And remember there is no more new prophecy today. It was complete and finished with the book of Revelation.

  • Read Luke 17:23-36 as Jesus vividly describes the rapture. Jesus says that we will know beyond any doubt. Jesus says that
  • 1) it will be business as usual right up to the very instant

    2) there will be signs like an increasing number of vultures in the sky

    3) it will be instantaneous - you will not have time to prepare unless you have already done so. (wars, rumors of wars, loss of morals, etc. as it is today)

  • We used to sit in a circle and pass around dope and lies, and now we sit in a circle and pass around the truth. Lawyer Sirls(spoken at a 12 step meeting at New Directions in the Winter of 1992)

  • If you seek the truth and are exposed you will have the experience. Do not try to have the experience and then go for the truth.

  • Truth is absolute. It is not relative.

  • God is not a man that He should lie nor a Son of Man that He should change His mind. Does He speak and then not act? Does He promise and not fulfill?
    NUMBERS 23:29

  • I believe the crisis of our day is the crisis of truth. Bob Vernon, L.A.P.D.

  • You don't need to see the way if you stay close to the one who does.
